Speaker Biography: Phil joined Tyco Security Products in January 2011, he brings with him a wealth of experience gained over nearly 30 years in the security industry. Like many in the industry Phil started on the tools as an engineer with companies like Security Centres, and Modern Alarms (those of who are old enough may remember them!) Having progressed in engineering then into sales as a Surveyor at Modern Alarms, Phil moved to Thorn Security (then called AFA just changing to Thorn EMI Protech). Here he gained much experience in larger scale security projects including massive integrated systems for a well know high street building Society, several shopping centres and large industrial sites. After a brief excursion to the public address industry Phil specialised in CCTV with manufacturing companies like Vicon, Baxall and Maxpro, which was taken over by Ultrak and latterly Honeywell
