“After Irma, the Outlook for Small Business in Collier County”

Post Irma, the prospects, the challenges and the opportunities for small business!

SCORE Naples and the Naples Daily News are co-sponsoring a panel discussion to discuss what small businesses need to know in the aftermath of Irma. Five distinguished panelists will each speak for 7 to 10 minutes. From their unique perspectives, they will discuss how they expect the effects of IRMA will impact small business in the Naples community.  Where is there growth potential?  What are the challenges? How best to reboot, not just rebuild? What level of economic impact might be expected in the weeks and months ahead?

A question and answer period will follow the panel discussion.

A continental breakfast will be provided by the Naples Daily News.

 Panelists:

  • Michael Wynn, President, Sunshine Ace Hardware, Branch Director of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, former Chairman of the Board of the Greater Naples Chamber of Commerce.
  • Leo Ochs, Collier County Manager, former Director of Leadership Collier, former president of Collier County Education Foundation
  • Blake Gable, CEO of Barron Collier Companies, Board of Trustees for Florida Gulf Coast University, graduate of Leadership Florida and Leadership Collier
  • Dr. Marshall Goodman, President, and CEO of the Naples Accelerator, Director of Catalyst Accelerator and former Regional Chancellor of USF Polytechnic
