Wrongly Convicted: A Story of Injustice

Join the Goldfarb Center for a talk with Anthony Ray Hinton on this year’s Freedom of Expression Policy Symposium theme: U.S. Criminal Justice System and Racial Inequalities. Mr. Hinton survived for 30 years on Alabama’s death row for murders he did not commit. His story is a decades-long journey to exoneration and freedom. Hinton’s power of forgiveness, grace, and perseverance in regards to wrongful imprisonment is truly amazing. He travels the world sharing his story and discussing the changes that need to be made to prevent similar injustices from happening to others.
