Roaring 20's Grand Ball Gala Benefiting Firefly Autism 

The Colorado Black Chamber of Commerce Leadership Foundation is pleased to announce the Chamber Connect Class of 2014 community service project event The Roaring 20’s Grand Ball will be held on Saturday September 13^th at the Turnhalle Grand Ballroom at Auraria Campus sponsored by MSU Denver Presidents Office. This event is being held to raise funds to benefit Firefly Autism.

Allow us to introduce you to Firefly Autism. Firefly Autism is a local school in Denver that provides treatment services for children 18 months to 18 years old with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Firefly operates with the understanding that every person has two lists; one with the things we can do and the other with things we can’t.  One-on-one, day-by-day, Firefly is changing our kids’ “cant’s” to CAN. Firefly also reaches beyond the walls of the facility to provide home-based family focused therapy throughout the Front Range and on the Western Slope. 

From 6:00pm until 9:00pm guest will enjoy dining by one of Denver’s premier caterers, Serendipity catering, as well as 1920’s themed specialty cocktails, live entertainment and a casino inspired auction which offers participants to bid on not one item but a collection of items.

The Chamber Connect Leadership Program has become one of Colorado’s premier leadership programs. Over the last 7 years, Chamber Connect had graduated over 200 participants and has opened many doors for upcoming leaders in business, politics and community service.  The Class of 2014 is honored to help support Firefly Autism and help spread awareness to this growing epidemic.
