SCAMS - BE ALERT AND AWARE

TIPS TO HELP YOU AVOID SCAMS & IDENTITY THEFT

Scams, scams and more scams, they have always been prevalent. There are always individuals trying to take advantage of people and their possessions. The COVID pandemic provided a new landscape to take advantage of people, especially older adults. Join Jackie Melinger and Lisa Lipton for an informative session on the latest scams to be aware of and what you can do to protect yourself, now and anytime.

Jackie Melinger is the owner of My Personal Bookkeeper and co-owns three local Home Instead franchises with husband Michael. Jackie has worked in the senior care industry for more than 20 years and has always managed the finances for her businesses plus helped others with their budgeting and organization.

Lisa Lipton is the Community Outreach & Development Manager for My Personal Bookkeeper. With more than 20 years in marketing, Lisa creates and nurtures relationships, educates professionals about the services MPB provides, and supports day to day operations.

What will be covered:

  • What is a scam and which scams are prevalent now?
