Conference On Disability
There will be a series of presentations discussing science access solutions for students with disabilities pursuing Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). Research on disability education will be presented at the 2015 Island Conference.
The ISLAND conference welcomes all science education, rehabilitation engineers, access technology specialists, rehabilitation professionals, special education educators, science faculty, parents of children with disabilities, and all other interested persons. Come see what research is being done to promote more hands on learning experiences in STEM education for persons with disabilities. Participate in both formal and informal discussions with like minded persons in this unique research interest. There will be a $50 registration fee this year that will include a breakfast and lunch as part of the proceedings. The fee will be $75 after November 10th. Daily parking is available at the Hotel Rose for only $5 for the day and $15 for overnight hotel guests. Rooms at the Hotel Rose can be booked at the Vernier Software & Technology corporate rate of $129 per night. There are a limited number of rooms at this rate, so you are encouraged to reserve as soon as possible.
