Length: 1.5 hours

Many workforce professionals struggle to bring employers on board with hiring people with convictions. This hour and a half webinar will provide a deep dive into employer engagement strategies and considerations when working with justice involved candidates.

Key Learning Objectives Include:

  • How to introduce employers to the idea of working with justice involved individuals
  • Common myths and realities of employing justice impacted individuals
  • Representing a person’s work experience while incarcerated into their credentials
  • Addressing common employer questions
  • Aspects of incentive programs like federal bonding and the Worker Opportunity Tax Credit.

The experts from CEO will provide case studies that highlight the evolution of employer engagement and how commitments have grown over time. They will also provide additional resources for employers.

This webinar is ideal for frontline staff, business services, recruiters, and human resource professionals looking to train and hire individuals with a justice involved history. There will be an opportunity for Q&A with the experts to support the learning.
