The link between the built environment and the health and vitatlity of our communities and neighborhoods is finally being recognized as a notion for serious consideration.
Raising awareness of that link has been at the foundation of Plan NH's work since 1989. Through various programs, we foster compactly-designed neighborhoods and town centers, talk about the importance of walkable and bikeable streets where appropriate and needed, promote choices in how to get about to jobs, groceries, services, friends and family, as well as encourage different types of places to live that are in convenient locations. And more.
The Annual Golf Classic raises funds for our work and our Scholarship Fund, which provides financial support and recognition to students from NH who are studying in a field that aligns with our philosophy.
Will you help us this year? Either as a player or a sponsor (or both!), your participation and contribution will send a message that you and your firm support the work of Plan NH, that, through the lens of the built environment, works to realize the vision of Vibrant Villages here in NH.
