Habitats, Heroes and Hallelujah:
Stories of Hope from the North Carolina Coast
Natty Greene's Pub & Brewing Co.
Raleigh, NC
Thursday, March 14
6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Enjoy a screening of the federation’s documentary, Habitats, Heroes & Hallelujah over hors d’oeuvres or dinner and your favorite beverage. (Dutch treat)
The Coastal Federation’s 40-minute video highlights some of the North Carolina coast’s most beautiful and productive areas, and profiles everyday people who have helped to save these special places. Narrated by author, songwriter and Coastal Federation board member, Bland Simpson, viewers will travel to the pocosins along the Outer Banks, up the White Oak River and hike the beaches of Bird Island. The video was produced by UNCW Television through the Division for Public Service and Continuing Studies and won a 2012 Telly Award.
It’s a great time to introduce your friends to the Coastal Federation. During the event, we’ll offer new memberships at the special rate of just $l5.
There is no charge to attend the screening, but food and beverage are an individual charge. Please register so we can prepare for your participation.
