Have you ever looked into your business future and thought, “What’s next?”

With the ever-increasing uncertainty in corporate America, many have decided to go into business for themselves.

And the first choice they face is how to make it happen. Should I start up a new business or should I buy an existing business? Or buy a franchise?

In this presentation, Mike Fadden, SCORE Mentor and Diana Trondsen, FranNet of Houston will deliver the pros and cons of going into business for yourself.  Learn the differences between starting a business from buying a business and buying a franchise. We will review the most important factors you need to consider in evaluating each of the alternatives.

Sample topics include:

  • What management experience is required?
  • How to identify the best business option for you?
  • Is funding one alternative easier than funding another?
  • Will you control your own destiny?
  • What are the valuation metrics?
  • Risks and rewards of business ownership.
  • Building your personal business model.

Join us, and take your first steps to Be the Boss.
