TriSharks Youth Camps are designed to educate and train kids ages 6 -14 in the sport of triathlon...all while having FUN! The basis of the 3 day camp program includes specific skill work encompassed by a layer of swim, bike and run activities. All of these fitness components are tailored to promote a healthy, multi-sport lifestyle for our youth athletes.
Each day of camp lasts 3 hours beginning promptly at 7:30 am and ending with parent pickup at 10:30 am.
*Please note for a successful camp your child must be able to swim 25 meters unassisted and have a mechanically sound bike. For the safety of all athletes training wheels are not permitted.
The last day of camp will be a Kids Triathlon Race and Party with Awards. Water, snacks & energy drinks will be provided.
Race Distance on the last day of camp will be broken down into three groups depending on age:
6 - 8: 25 meter swim, .25 mi bike, .25 mi run
8 - 10: 50 meter swim, .5 mi bike, .5 mi run
10+: 100 meter swim, 1 mi bike, 1 mi run
