Mithcell Wexler, Partner - Fragomen

Mitch has been practicing immigration law for 35+ years. He manages the firm’s 3 Southern California offices (Los Angeles, Irvine & San Diego). He is a Specialist in Immigration & Nationality Law, Certified by the State Bar of California, Board of Legal Specialization. Mitch is a regular speaker at conferences on various business immigration law topics and has written over 50 articles on such topics. He is a long time member of the BABCOC and has previously served on its Board for a number of years.

Shafiqa Kureshi, Associate - Fragomen

Shafiqa is an Associate at Fragomen’s Irvine office, where she focuses her practice on providing immigration solutions to high net worth individuals. Shafiqa has extensive experience with all employment-based visa categories, including investor visas (e.g., E-2 and EB-5), as well as familybased applications. Shafiqa has experience counseling clients from various industries, including tech start-ups, entertainment production companies and multinational companies, on all aspects of corporate immigration. She has prepared and filed nonimmigrant and immigrant visa petitions and responded to complex Requests for Evidence.
