Deepening Montessori Principles in our Daily Work: Reflection and Renewal for Infant & Toddler Practitioners--a day with Sarah Moudry

As we reflect on our foundation for working with the youngest and most influential citizens of the world, an orientation formed in us through our Montessori coursework, it is time to refocus from theory to practice. You have chosen to make a difference in the life of each family with whom you connect.  How do you achieve this in your daily interactions as: a teacher, a parent educator, a colleague.

As educators, it is essential that we take a wider, more global view of our work.  The lessons we learn from Montessori philosophy run deep and affect our whole lives.  In this seminar, we will discuss:

  • Creating and maintaining a beautiful classroom environment
  • Working with parents
  • Building professional relationships

BONUS: What were the greatest lessons learned from the making of the movie, Edison’s Day?  Sarah will show and narrate the moments that seem to have made the most difference in the lives of those who have seen this popular Montessori video production.

The day's schedule will like:

8:00 AM Registration

9:00 AM Morning Session Begins

12:00 PM  Lunch Break
