25th Best of Basics (BoB) Summer Program

A Different Approach to Summer School!

July 8 - August 2, 2019

What is Best of Basics?

Our 25th summer Best of Basics program runs July 8-August 2, 2019.

Our annual Best of Basics Summer Program helps students in a way that a regular summer school cannot. We welcome students - those with learning and attention difficulties as well as those looking to prevent the summer slide. Our small group classes and one-on-one options focus on building skills using the multi-sensory, Orton-Gillingham Approach.

Note: If you'd like to learn more about this program, please attend  our open house on Monday, April 29 from 4-6pm.

Best of Basics includes:

  • Multisensory instruction by specially-trained teachers that has proven exceptionally effective for students of all ages.
  • A small group learning environment with students of like skills (average 4-6 students).
  • Review & reinforcement of vital, foundational skills to help prevent the summer slide.
  • A boost for students before school resumes.
  • A short pre-screening to determine skill level for each student.
  • Option to purchase ten 1:1 tutoring sessions at a discount.
