This is our third annual MA Government Day. A wide range of Massachusetts government agencies have made presentations on issues tangential to taxes. Emphasis will be paid on Paid Family Medical Leave and the expanded room occupancy tax that includes short term rentals, (VRBO & AirBnB).
4:00-5:55 pm, MASEA 2019 Annual Meeting
Hear committee reports; elect next year's directors and officers. Learn what new items have been added to the budget revenue and expense stream. It's the governance of MaSEA. Please celebrate the Society's birthday party with us!
No cost and no IRS CPE to attend and participate in the annual meeting.
6:45 pm- Julia Baker, LISCW. Ms. Baker has developed a specialty in trauma care. Preparers exercise poor self care habits. The tax filing season induces stress and long work hours that have immediate and long-term impact on one's physical, emotional, and interpersonal well-being. Julia will deliver different strategies to alleivate the damage that professionals inflict upon themselves during the filing season. Join us for this fascinating session and be well for many years.
