Weather. It’s looking good! Perhaps no rain until afternoon.

It’s  a 6/10 mile walk from train station to Capitol across beautiful Bushnell Park. [This is an aspiration for me, but it will have to wait for another day. jl]

Food and Beverages. We are not providing any food or beverages. You may purchase both at the Lessings Cafeteria and bring to our meeting space in the Capitol Building.

Handouts. There will be packets of handouts for each of you when you arrive, and we will post them on website after the event. (One or two are still in process).

Volunteer Job Description.

Our current Legislative Specialist for Election Laws, Yvonne Senturia, has other major commitments in March and April this year when the legislative calendar is most full. Yvonne has anchored this key position for LWVCT for several years. We are eternally grateful to Yvonne for stepping up and staying at the helm to keep us on course in challenging times. I am attaching the job description for this position so you can consider whether you or some other current LWVCT member would be interested in exploring the possibility of helping her out and taking on more of this responsibility. [Please note: trouble attaching job description. Look for it in your packet tomorrow, or email me at Advocacy@lwvct.org and I'll send it to you via regular email.]
