An Evening with New York Times Bestselling Authors: John Searles in Conversation with Kate White

Wednesday, May 25 at 6:30 p.m.
via Zoom
(Please note: This is now a virtual-only event)

Join us for an evening with two New York Times bestselling authors, John Searles, author of Her Last Affair, in conversation with Kate White. Part page-turning thriller, part homage to film noir, and dazzling in its insight into the often desperate desires of the human heart, Her Last Affair is a tense and atmospheric novel of love lost and found again.

John Searles is a New York Times bestselling and award-winning author of Help for the Haunted and Strange but True. His books are published in over a dozen languages and have been voted “Best of the Year” or top picks by Boston Globe, Entertainment Weekly, Salon, and the American Library Association. For 23 years, John was the books editor of Cosmopolitan, also serving as the magazine’s brand director, executive editor, and editor-at-large. He has appeared on NBC’s Today Show, CBS This Morning, CNN, NPR’s Fresh Air, and other shows to discuss his books.

White is also the author of several popular career books for women, including I Shouldn’t Be Telling You This, and editor of the Anthony and Agatha Award nominated The Mystery Writers of America Cookbook. For fourteen years Kate served as the editor-in-chief of Cosmopolitan, which under her became the most successful magazine in single copy sales in the U.S.                                 (photo credit: Jordan Matter)
